A pair of Costco workers have raised eyebrows after claiming shoppers can return old, used bed sheets and dead Christmas trees - no questions asked.
Hannah Joyce Arcega, from Livermore California, is a Costco employee who posted a TikTok video on some of the warehouse retailer's most interesting refund requests.
Arcega, who goes by Hannahbanannzz, as well as another employee called Gabby, recorded themselves responding to: 'Questions we get all the time at refunds' while gesturing 'the chopping dance' at their workstations.
'I used these bed sheets for 5 years,' the first onscreen text said. 'Can I return it?'

She responded: 'Yes! U get a full refund.'
The next question was: 'Can I return a dead Christmas tree after Christmas?'
Arcega surprisingly answered: 'Yes! You'll get a full refund.'
Finally, one caption in Arcega's video claimed that customers have asked: 'Can I return this pie even tho there's only a quarter of it left?'
Shockingly, the answer is: 'SURE! Here's ur money back.'

One commenter posted: 'Costco also has the right to refund the person's membership if they are abusing the return policy. My husband was warned.'
Another user mentioned in the comments that her husband works at Costco and 'one time a woman brought back [an] empty wine bottle because it gave her a headache!!'
'My social anxiety could never,' someone else said. 'I'd be so embarrassed.'
Neither Costco, nor Arcega immediately responded to the DailyMail.com's request for comment.
On it's website, Costco says that its members have a 'risk-free 100% satisfaction guarantee' policy.
On it's website, Costco says that its members have a 'risk-free 100% satisfaction guarantee' policy although there are some exceptions and that 'limitations apply'
The only exceptions include cigarettes, alcohol, electronics — though there is a 90-days return policy — and diamonds over 1.00 ct — although customers may be able to be refunded if they have all the original paperwork showing proof of purchase.
Other products like tires or batteries, which have a limited useful life expectancy, and custom products made to a customer's specifications are not eligible for a full refund.
Costco's policy on items eligible for a full refund isn't entirely clear as the warehouse store does say that 'limitations apply,' though the website does not specify what those are.
In order to return items, members have to bring the product they are returning to 'any Costco warehouse' where the company's Member Services Team can process the return.
'It helps if you have the receipt or original product packaging, but it may not be necessary to process your return,' the Costco website says.
