Former president Donald Trump's niece says his plans to spend the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at a boxing match are 'disgraceful.'
Mary Trump - an outspoken critic of her famous uncle - spoke with CNN host Anderson Cooper Thursday, and was asked her opinion of his Saturday night plans.
‘Does it despise you even by his low standards,’ Anderson asked his guest. ‘If another former president decided to spend 9/11 commenting on a boxing match on pay-per-view, heads would explode.'
Mary Trump did not hold back in her nationally-televised response.
'There is a completely standard that Donald’s held to – in fact, he’s held to no standard,' she said. 'It’s disgraceful... Disgraceful isn’t a strong enough word to describe what you just mentioned.'
The 45th president will host and commentate on a September 11 boxing match between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort in Hollywood, Florida.

Mary Trump called on the public to push back against Republicans who continue to support the former president.
'If there is no blowback on the right…then that tells us everything we need to know about the current state of the Republican party,' she said.
'The Democrats really start need to wrapping their heads around the fact that this is not a party that can be worked with, this is not a party that should be conceded to.'
