MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell went on his most insane Trump-Russia rant ever and declared ‘the president is a Russian operative.’
Paranoid O’Donnell made this hysteric declaration based off of a NY Times article that provided zero evidence to back up the claims.
In fact, the NY Times article claiming ‘Putin was helping Trump win in 2020’ was debunked in less than 24 hours after it was revealed that no intel was provided to the DNI.
O’Donnell also asserted that Russian President Vladimir Putin told Trump to choose German Ambassador Richard Grenell as his Acting DNI.
“The president is a Russian operative. That sounds like the description of a bad Hollywood screenplay, but it is real, and it is Vladimir Putin’s greatest achievement,” O’Donnell said as the chyron was emblazoned with “Breaking News.”
“The president of the United States is now helping Russia help the president of the United States to get reelected, so that the president of Russia will have four more years of the president of the United States who he wants in the Oval Office,” O’Donnell said sounding like he was on the verge of a heart attack.
But Lawrence O’Donnell wasn’t quite finished delivering his “shocking” breaking news.
O’Donnell referred to the Trump Admin as the “Trump-Putin regime” as he turned his ire toward Richard Grenell.
“Richard Grenell will be replacing Joseph Maguire who was serving as an Acting Director of National Intelligence and he expected to be nominated by the president to be confirmed by the Senate as the official DNI…until Vladimir Putin showed Donald Trump that he needed an even more incompetent DNI because Vladimir Putin is working hard to reelect his favorite president…”
