A social media feud has erupted between Kellyanne Conway and Nikki Haley over a tweet from President Donald Trump mocking one of his greatest Democratic critics in Congress.

The tweet from the president referred to a break in at a rental propertyowned by Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.).
"Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed," the president tweeted.
"Too bad!" he added.
The tweet came during a fiery debate over his criticism of the poverty and standard of living in Cummings' district. Some have lobbed accusations of racism at the president but his allies have responded with examples of decay in the city.
Haley, who is a former member of the Trump administration, appeared to be unhappy with the tweet.
"This is so unnecessary," she tweeted, with a frowning emoji symbol.
Conway, who is a current member of the Trump administration, fired back with a veiled implication that Haley had cut herself off from consideration as a future Vice President for Trump.
"THIS is so unnecessary. Trump-PENCE2020," Conway tweeted.
Haley has been the subject of speculation as a replacement for Pence in the VP slot in the future.
"She's basically saying you're not getting on the ticket, Nikki Haley, if you want to, but that's her way of pushing back without creating a real war between Nikki Galey and the president," said Republican strategist Susan Del Percio on MSNBC.
"She's definitely sending a message that we're behind Pence," she concluded.
