Ex-CNN Employee Appears To Threaten Kellyanne Conway On Twitter. Here’s Twitter’s Response.

Former CNN employee Reza Aslan appeared to make threatening statements toward White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway on Twitter on Sunday, which promoted no response from the social media platform. 
In response to the tragedies in El Paso and Dayton, Conway tweeted, "We need to come together, America. Finger-pointing, name-calling & screaming with your keyboards is easy, yet... It solves not a single problem, saves not a single life. Working as one to understand depraved evil & to eradicate hate is everyone’s duty. Unity. Let’s do this."
Aslan, who was fired by CNN over vile comments he made on Twitter in 2017, responded by tweeting at Conway: "You are 'the depraved evil' we need to eradicate."
 
A Twitter official, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter, told The Daily Wire, "this tweet does not break our rules at this time."
Aslan has a history of making controversial comments on Twitter, including tweeting, "Just to be clear I was indeed wishing someone would rape congressman Todd Akin. I'd hate to be misunderstood." 
 
In response to the media's smear of the Covington Catholic students earlier this year, Aslan tweeted a photo of student Nick Sandmann, who is a minor, and wrote, "Honest question. Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kid’s?"
Twitter recently suspended conservative investigative group Project Veritas for violating its "rules against posting private information" after Project Veritas released information from a whistleblower at Pinterest.
Twitter has also banned people from the platform for stating the scientific fact that "men are not women."
