For the 69th time, Democrats last week blocked a vote on legislation that would mandate the provision of medical care and treatment for babies who survive abortions.
Similar legislation has been brought up by Republicans and rejected by Democrats 66 times in the House and twice in the Senate.
Michigan Rep. Jack Bergman proposed “a unanimous consent request to allow a vote on the anti-infanticide bill” but, according to LifeNews.com, the Democrats “ruled it out of order. As they have done numerous times, after Democrats denied the request to vote on the bill, they cut off his microphone so he could not object to their denying a vote.”
Despite being the party that boasts healthcare for all, the Democrats seem hell-bent on making sure newborn babies don’t get the same treatment.
Democrats would rather let babies die on the table after a botched abortion.
It may sound harsh, but that is what is at stake.
And it’s not hyperbole. It’s really happening.
According to a recent Department of Health report, three babies died last year after being born alive after failed abortions.
And that is just the ones that were reported — in Minnesota.
Democrats don’t think the babies inside their mothers are human beings. They must also think that if a doctor tries to kill these non-babies and fails to do so, then once they are laying on the doctor’s table, still alive and in need of care, it’s perfectly ethical and even desirable to let them die.
In Minnesota alone, since 2016, 11 babies have survived abortions.
The repeated language from the recent Minnesota report is chilling. “No measures taken to preserve life were reported and the infant did not survive.”
According to Lifenews.com, the CDC estimates “at least 143 babies were born alive after botched abortions between 2003 and 2014 in the U.S.”
One has to ask, why would Democrats vote against medical treatment for dying babies?
If you come up with a good answer, let me know.
