Harmeet K. Dhillon, the lawyer representing journalist Andy Ngo, had some stern words for the people who reportedly assaulted him over the weekend.
Reported Antifa members mobbed Ngo and beat him in Portland. The Portland Police Department said that Ngo's attackers kicked, punched, and threw milkshakes and quick-dry at him.
A video of the incident was shared online, which soon went viral. Ngo was reportedly admitted to the hospital for what his lawyer called "brain bleed."
What did Dhillon say?
In a blistering Monday tweet, the lawyer warned Antifa members of imminent legal actions.
"Goodnight everyone except Antifa criminals who I plan to sue into oblivion and then sow salt into their yoga studios and avocado toast stands until nothing grows there," Dhillon wrote, "not even the glimmer of a violent criminal conspiracy aided by the effete impotence of a cowed city government."
After Ngo was reportedly admitted to the hospital, Dhillon wrote, "You sick 'journalists' and other hacks gloating about this should be ashamed. As for the rest, please pray for [Ngo] who we need back in health — brave man!"
What else?
Upon release, Dhillon wrote, "He'll have more to say in coming days about what happened to him & others yesterday in Portland. He is very thankful for the overwhelming support from decent people especially @michellemalkin & donors."
Conservative commentator Michelle Malkin set up a GoFundMe page to benefit Ngo.
The page read, "Lovers of liberty and supporters of independent media, [m]y friend, Portland, Oregon-based journalist Andy Ngo, was beaten and robbed today by Antifa while covering the latest paroxysms of left-wing violence."
"Andy has been singled out, doxxed, and targeted by SJW thugs while police stand by and do nothing," the page continued.
"Please help raise money for his security and medical needs, and to help him replace his stolen equipment," Malkin wrote. "Every cent goes directly to Andy."
"I said during my CPAC speech earlier this year that we need to stand with those reporting and fighting on the front lines. Andy is one of the intrepid journalists doing the job no one else will do," she explained. "I've been in touch with him and he has given me the green light to create this fund. All funds will help him continue his invaluable work. "
At the time of this writing, the page has generated more than $144,000 in donations.
