Liger
Male Lion + Female Tiger
Ligers are the biggest cats in the world, with the largest non-obese Liger weighing over 904 lbs.
I’ve heard they’re also bred for their skills in magic, but that dude wouldn’t even share his tots so I don’t trust him.
Tigon
Male Tiger + Female Lion
Ligers and Tigons could technically breed, but at what point are we just playing God?
Jaglion
Male Jaguar + Female Lion
Did you say something? I couldn’t hear you over how badass this thing is. I’m naming my kid Jaglion and he can’t stop me.
Hinny
Female Donkey + Male Horse
Dzo
Cow + Wild Yak
These animals are prized in Tibet and Mongolia for their meat and quantity of milk produced.
Zubron
Cow + European Bison
Beefalo
Buffalo + Cow
Beefalo will be my second, less loved child. These animals are heartier than cattle and do less damage to the land while grazing.
It’s suspected that only 4 wild herds of buffalo aren’t contaminated by cow genes.
Coywolf
Coyote + Wolf
In addition to probably being some creepy dude’s eHarmony screen name, Coywolf isn’t too uncommon, seeing that the Coyote and Wolf only split apart genetically roughly 150,000 years ago.
Geep
Goat + Sheep
Look at it! I love it.
Wholphin
Male False Killer Whale + Female Bottlenose Dolphin
Leopon
Male Leopard + Female Lion
Grolar Bear
Polar Bear + Brown Bear
Mostly found in zoos, but few have been seen in the wild.
Mulard
Mallard + Muscovy Duck
Savannah Cat
Domestic Cat + Serval
These large cats act just like dogs by playing games, wagging their tails, and enjoying water and swimming.
Nargula
Narwhal + Beluga
Zebroid
Zebra + Any Other Equine
Zonkey
Zebra + Donkey
It kind of looks like a donkey wearing some stripey pants.
