60 Whole30-Approved Groceries

Ready to build your Whole30 food list, but don’t know where to start? You’re not alone.

The Whole30 program is notorious for being as challenging as it is rewarding. That’s because the 30-day elimination diet has some pretty strict standards when it comes to which foods you are (and are not) allowed to consume during the program. For example, foods with added sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes, dairy, and certain additives are all prohibited for 30 days.

Although many dieters recommend meal prepping to adhere to the strict requirements, you don’t have to solely rely on home-cooked meals during the program. To make your life easier, Whole30 came up with their Whole30 Approved Program: a certification for packaged foods which lets dieters know a product is 100 percent compliant with the rules of the program.

To help streamline your month even more, we’ve gathered and categorized a list of official Whole30-approved picks. Below, you’ll find high-quality proteins; nourishing fats; additive-free marinades, dressings, and condiments; fresh spices; wholesome broths, soups, and beverages; plant-based picks; and ready-to-eat meals.
