The Stairway Of The King Of Aragon Should Definitely Go On Your Bucket List (10 pics)

The Stairway Of The King Of Aragon is located in Corsica, France. Legendarily carved out of the steep cliff face in a single night during Alfonso V's siege of the town, in fact it was a much older Franciscan construction devised to allow easy access to a water source at the base for their monastery. It was built in 1420 and set at an angle of 45° having 187 steps.
