To combat the winter blues, managers at the Viking Direct office told teams they could dress up their cubicles. The four-member creative team decided to take things to the next level by building a cardboard castle complete with drawbridge.
For material the team collected old and used cardboard boxes from around the office, stashing them in the warehouse until they had enough. After spending a couple of hours on design they set aside an evening to stay after hours so they could surprise the entire office the next morning.
The build took 7 hours. Lot of glue was used and a production process for the ‘bricks’ was designed on the fly, but in the end it was ready for the next morning and the entire office had no idea what they were in for that day!
