Dem official caught in expletive-filled rant yells he wished Scalise had died, ‘glad he was shot’

More evidence has emerged that proves the Democrats are the party of violence.
In an audio recording released on Thursday, a Nebraska Democrat official was caught saying he was happy Rep. Steve Scalise was shot as he practiced for a charity baseball game, Fox 42 reported.
“His whole job is to get people, convince Republicans to f***ing kick people off f***ing health care. I hate this m*****f***er, I’m glad he got shot,” Phil Montag, a technology chairman for Nebraska’s Democrat Party, said in the recording.
“I’m glad he got shot, I’m not going to f**king say that in public,” he said.
Another unidentified man asked, “well, then what are you saying it to us for?”
“I wish he was f***ing dead,” Montag continued.
“It’s ok, because I’ve been recording this conversation since you’ve come in, so I will publicly release it myself,” the unidentified man said.
Jane Kleeb, the state’s Democrat Party chairwoman, confirmed that it was Montag on the recording.
He has been fired since the recording was released to the public.
“[we] obviously condemn any kind of violence, whether it’s comments on Facebook or comments in a meeting,” Kleeb told Fox 42.
“Our country is better than the political rhetoric that is out there from both the far right and the far left,” she said.
The comments come after a Democrat Party strategist James Devine called on others to “hunt Republican congressman” after the shooting.
And after a Huffington Post writer called for a violent resistance to be more organized.
On Thursday, actor Johnny Depp said it was time for an actor to assassinate President Donald Trump.

Media omits legal status of man arrested for murder of Muslim girl – over and over again

The establishment media’s hasty misreporting and omission of facts relating to the alleged murder of a 17-year old Muslim girl by a 22-year old illegal alien suspect Sunday morning looks like an attempt to push a narrative and not the facts.

Before the details of the brutal murder were able to materialize, The Atlantic did not hesitate in trying to fit the killing into a neatly wrapped narrative, writing “Muslim Americans are mourning—and terrified.” The article’s headline boasts “Muslims Feel Under Siege” and included the 17-year old’s murder as one of “two violent incidents” specifically targeting Muslims occurring over the weekend. The other incident was a man accused of ploughing his van into a group of worshippers outside a mosque in London, killing one person and injuring 11.

Far left magazine Affinity wasted no time Monday in proclaiming that “this [murder] is terrorism,” and “it comes with no surprise that bigots” cannot accept terrorism as anything other than “non-exclusive of Muslims.” Affinity doubles down on their extemporaneous reporting, lamenting the fact that hate crime allegations are “still” being investigated despite “evidence that proves” the girl was targeted for her faith.
At the time of Affinity’s and The Atlantic’s reporting, no facts about the killers motive were known, however, hours later police reported that there was “nothing” to indicate that the murder was a hate crime, but instead an act of “road rage.” Not only was there no evidence to support their sanctimonious claims, the accused attacker is not even an American citizen, but here illegally from El Salvador.
Later that same evening, The Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross reported that the suspect, Darwin A. Martinez Torres, is in the United States illegally from El Salvador. The media’s handling of these new facts was indicative of their intent to use this tragedy for their own ends. CNN‘s report revealing that the murder was an act of road rage was forceful in their reporting of the emotionally distraught father’s claims that it was a hate crime. Nowhere in the CNN report was it mentioned that the suspect is in the U.S. illegally, so as not to sully the narrative.
The closest The Washington Post came to reporting that Torres is an illegal alien was quickly mentioning a “detainer” placed on him by “U.S. Immigration officials” for “possible” deportation proceedings. WaPo, reporting that he spoke through a translator to answer the judges questions — never once uses the term “illegal alien” or “illegal immigrant” to describe Torres.
The New York Times reported honestly on Torres’ legal status but waited until the next day and included quotes from the slain girls father saying that the public “should stop hating on people” because of religious differences. TheNYT also included that local Muslim leaders were confident that the police would review whether the victim was “targeted because she was Muslim.” Two paragraphs later, the Times acknowledges that the police “classified the case as a ‘road rage incident,’” before describing the reported series of events.
Two of the three Monday evening shows on the big three cable networks ignored the story entirely. ABC News mentioned it briefly in a video segment, with the teaser ahead of the story asking the question, “was it a hate crime?” ABC reported on Torres’ motive of “road rage” earlier that same day, as well as his legal status before the show aired, yet it was never mentioned on the show.
NBC finally reported on the story Wednesday night, describing Torres as a “construction worker” with no mention of his legal status and reporting that “prosecutors cannot rule out” pursuing charges for a hate crime. Their report came two days after the police reported there was no evidence the killing was a hate crime.
The establishment media’s crusade to highlight tragedies to perpetuate a narrative continues. Their effort to spin an alleged vicious murder committed by an illegal alien of a 17-year old girl because he was “angry” into the broader narrative that this was symptomatic of America’s Islamophobia, shows just how far they’re willing to go.

Man who tried to violently convert Goodwill workers to Islam was just booted back to Saudi Arabia

Don’t try any of that “convert or die” crap in Trump’s America.
A Muslim Ball State University student has been sent back home to Saudi Arabia after he violently tried to convert store employees and customers to Islam earlier this year.
Khalid Sulaiman Bilal, 24, was deported this week following an investigation into the matter by the Department of Homeland Security, according to The Muncie Star Press.
The incident occurred in late March when police, responding to the disturbance, had to use a taser on Bilal in order to subdue him after he tried to break the hand of one officer and charged at another.
Before police arrived, he punched and attempted to strangle a store employee and threatened to kill everyone in the premises if they didn’t convert.
The Star Press reported:
Bilal was charged with 15 crimes – including five counts of battery resulting in bodily injury to a police officer, three counts of resisting law enforcement, and attempted strangulation and intimidation – in connection with the March 25 incident at the Goodwill store….
According to police reports and documents filed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Bilal tried to “forcefully convert people to Islam” after entering the Goodwill store, at times threatening to kill everyone in the building.
He was also charged with battering and choking a store clerk, vowing to kill her if she did not convert to Islam. Witnesses said he repeatedly shouted, “Allahu Akbar!” as he struggled with police officers.

But the news wasn’t all bad for Bilal. After he was deported, prosecutors dropped all 15 criminal charges against him.

Fla. lawmaker claims he was called the ‘n-word’ during clash over changing Confederate street names

A black South Florida lawmaker said he was called racial epithets during a clash with constituents protesting the renaming of three streets within his district.
The streets are all within Hollywood, a town located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and are named after Confederate generals — John B. Hood, Nathan B. Forrest and Robert E. Lee.
It’s a clash that’s become all-too-common recently between preserving history and righting past wrongs.
Prior to the meeting Rep. Shevrin Jones, a Democrat representing the area, tweeted:

 Politico reported:
In Hollywood, city officials have made it easier to change the name of its streets. They require the approval of residents who live on the streets that are named after Lee, Gen. John Bell Hood and Nathan Bedford Forrest, the founder of the KKK. But many residents along Forrest, Hood and Lee streets say they don’t want the hassle of changing their addresses. So the names have remained, though Jones wants to persuade them to change.

“As an African-American man, these streets are named after a part of my history that I wish not to see,” Jones told POLITICO Florida. “In my city, I want to see the names of people who have contributed to the progress of the city — not the names of individuals who have raped and enslaved our ancestors.”
Jones reported that the streets named after Confederate generals are all located within a black section of Hollywood.
Jones alleged that some time after he arrived to make his pitch to the city commission that he and others were called the “n-word” and “monkey” by protesters.
That would be disgusting if true, however, with all the shouting and screaming that went on before and even during the commissioner’s meeting, it’s difficult to make out what anyone is saying.
In 2010 U.S. Rep. John Lewis made a similar charge against a tea party member. The Georgia Democrat claimed that he was called the “n-word” at an event where cameras were rolling everywhere. The late Andrew Breitbart challenged Lewis and offered a $100,000 reward to anyone who could submit evidence of the racial slur.
No one came forward.

Teen Who Beat 16-Month-Old Daughter Into Coma: 'Told That Lil B**** To Get Abortion'

Sixteen-month-old Nylah Lewis was severely beaten into a coma by her father, 19-year-old Shaquan Taylor of Brooklyn, New York, on Father's day. Old, belligerent Facebook posts by the Brooklyn teenager said he ordered the mother of his child to have an abortion.

As reported by New York Daily News, Nylah suffered "bleeding on the brain, multiple skull fractures and bruising on her face, legs and other parts of her body," according to authorities. The baby also required a blood transfusion while being treated at Maimonides Medical Center. Early Tuesday, a prosecutor said it was unlikely Nylah would make it another 24 hours.

Facebook postings from the time baby Nylah was born give us a glimpse into the motive of the sickening attack: Taylor wanted his daughter killed in the womb.
"[F]eel mad disrespected, told that lil b**** to get abortion & she tells me she is but still keep it," the teen wrote.
The disturbing post maligns the baby's mother, Tammy Lewis, and boasts that Taylor "just f***ed ha [sic] thotty ass thats [sic] it."
"[I]f anybody else feel a way about what i [sic] just said you could suck my d**kkk to [sic] !!!!" he wrote.

Taylor apparently sent a Facebook message to Lewis around the time of the incident on Father's Day, informing her "there was a problem and that she needed to pick up Nylah," according to police sources. NYDN reports what happened when Lewis arrived at the scene:
When Tammy Lewis arrived, her daughter was face up on the couch and struggling to breathe, with obvious bruising on her face, sources said. The 17-year-old mom grabbed Nylah and left the apartment, but Taylor caught up to her in the lobby. He knocked her to the ground with one punch — as she was holding their child, sources said.
The father then grabbed his daughter and handed her to a friend, who passed the baby to an EMS crew that had been sent to the scene.
The young mom ran off, but Taylor chased her and continued bashing her outside his W. 32nd St. building, bruising her face, sources said. Then he hid in the bushes, according to police.
On Monday, police charged the teen with felony assault and endangering a child under age 17 for his crimes against his daughter; he was also charged for beating Lewis.
On Tuesday, the teen's 19th birthday, he remained behind bars on $250,000 bail.
As noted by The Daily Mail, "Taylor was charged with sexual misconduct in 2015 because he was in a relationship with Lewis, who was only 14 at the time. A year later, he was arrested again for harassing her."

Religion Of Peace: Woman Attacked On Bus 'For Wearing Mini Shorts During Ramadan'

When a university student in Istanbul was riding a public bus, a Muslim man allegedly scolded her for wearing mini shorts during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan before he assaulted her. When the woman confronted the man, seemingly attempting to slap him, she was grabbed by the hair and thrown to the ground.
The disturbing incident was captured via video by CCTV.
Melisa Sağlam, the victim in the attack, claims the man asked her, "Are you not ashamed to dress this way during Ramadan?" before he assaulted her, reports Doğan News Agency.
The suspect, Ercan Kızıltaş, claims he was "provoked" by the woman and was merely defending himself.
According to Turkish media reports, Kızıltaş was investigated and ready to be set for release from police authorities over the assault, but was only detained after it became apparent the man had a "tax offense" conviction.
Kızıltaş will reportedly spend three years and seven months behind bars over the tax crimes; no time will be served for the assault captured on camera.
The victim reacted to the assault after she was informed Kızıltaş was not held accountable for the crime.
"My only wish from the justice system is that an appropriate, dissuasive punishment is given to the assailant," Sağlam told Hürriyet, a Turkish newspaper. (The victim was unaware at the time that Kızıltaş would be behind bars for his tax crimes.)
"I do not want him to walk around freely because I cannot anymore," she added. "I could until now, but since being assaulted I have been unable to go anywhere without my mother - I cannot even get on public transportation."

White theater critic accused of racism in her reviews — and a petition is demanding punishment

An online petition accuses Hedy Weiss, longtime theater critic for the Chicago Sun-Times, of racism in her reviews — and is demanding a punishment be exacted.
And the penalty can be carried out by theaters around the city: They should cease inviting Weiss to productions and stop giving her media passes, the petition states. If she wants in, Weiss has to pay for her own ticket.
The Chicago Theater Accountability Coalition, author of the petition, notes that the city’s artists “have worked hard to create a safe, healthy environment to practice art in” and that Weiss “has proven that she is not willing to work with us to create a positive environment. She has proven this repeatedly with the racism, homophobia, and body shaming found in her reviews. She has proven this by never, not once, apologizing to a party injured by her words.”
The petition, launched a week ago, has attracted nearly 3,600 signatures as of Thursday morning.
Weiss reportedly has a history of penning provocative reviews, but at issue now is her response to a play called “Pass Over,” which in part deals with police harassment of young black men.
“To be sure, no one can argue with the fact that this city (and many others throughout the country) has a problem with the use of deadly police force against African-Americans,” Weiss wrote. “But, for all the many and varied causes we know so well, much of the lion’s share of the violence is perpetrated within the community itself. [Play creator Antoinette] Nwandu’s simplistic, wholly generic characterization of a racist white cop (clearly meant to indict all white cops) is wrong-headed and self-defeating.”
Weiss said that such elements contributes to a production that “ends up clubbing its audience over the head.”
The famed Steppenwolf Theatre, which put on “Pass Over,” wasn’t happy with Weiss’ review, either. An emailed statement to the Chicago Tribune spells that out:
We denounce the viewpoints expressed in some of these reviews as they fail to acknowledge the very systemic racism that “Pass Over” addresses directly. Particularly egregious are the comments from Sun-Times critic Hedy Weiss, whose critical contribution has, once again, revealed a deep-seated bigotry and a painful lack of understanding of this country’s historic racism. Her contribution is actively working against the kind of theater we are striving to be.
Kirstin Franklin, co-artistic director of Akvavit Theatre, told the Tribune that an invite was sent to the Sun-Times for the theater’s upcoming production of “Hitler on the Roof” prior to the petition’s circulation — and that she prefers the paper send a reviewer other than Weiss. Or Weiss can buy her own ticket.
“I agree that it’s important that we have freedom of press,” Franklin told the Tribune, “and that they’re able to speak their opinion, but it’s also important for editors to really look at what is being printed and to say, ‘Will words from this hurt a specific person?’ or ‘Will words from this review hurt a specific group of people?’ I think that’s important.”
Weiss told the Columbia Journalism Review in an emailed statement: “All I can say is that the theater is obviously not exempt from the general state of the world right now. And none of it is very pretty.”
The Sun-Times has not commented on the issue.
But alternative weekly the Chicago Reader published a “defense of Hedy Weiss,” with writer Deanna Isaacs noting that the “eager herd brutality” she sees in social media regarding Weiss “brings to mind something very nasty and much older than the internet. Something like a witch hunt.”
The Tribune ran an editorial Monday defending the critic from its rival paper. But a reader replied with a letter to the editor calling out the Tribune’s “misleading, glib editorial” that failed to recognize “Weiss’ pattern of, at best, racially tone-deaf criticism.”
Bill Wyman, a longtime arts critic, penned the CJR piece about the controversy surrounding Weiss and said “at their worst” her “remarks betray a strident and somewhat simplistic political bent from the right of the mainstream. But it’s probably safe to say that most theater critics are liberal, and have presumably contributed their own stridency from time to time.”
He also blasts the Change.org petition, calling its first sentence — “a safe, healthy environment to practice art in” — as “as out of touch as any of Weiss’s remarks.”
“Theater is, of course, a highly public endeavor, and the world outside is a big bad place, with lions and tigers and critics who have opinions,” Wyman concludes. “If its practitioners want safety, they should practice their craft behind closed doors.”
