Bernie Blasted MSNBC Execs Before Debate: ‘Your Coverage of My Campaign is Not Fair… Your Questions Tonight Are Not Going To Be Fair’

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders reportedly blasted MSNBC executives prior to the Las Vegas debate, asserting that their coverage of his campaign has not been fair.

Sanders, according to a report from Page Six, marched right up to a top producer, jabbed his finger in their face, and said that he did not expect them to ask him fair questions.
“Surging Sanders stormed through the walk-through for the Las Vegas debate, singling out one top producer at the end and aggressively sticking his finger in his face. One shocked witness said, ‘Bernie marched right up to NBC and MSNBC’s head of creative production and began jabbing his finger right in his face, yelling, ‘Your coverage of my campaign is not fair . . . Your questions tonight are not going to be fair to me.,'” Page Six reports.
A witness of the confrontation said that the NBC exec told Sanders he would be treated fairly.
“A separate insider confirmed the confrontation, saying Sanders was so steamed he also sparred with MSNBC boss Phil Griffin outside the green room moments before the debate began. Sen. Sanders stated, ‘Phil, your network has not been playing a fair role in this campaign. I am upset. Is anything going to change? . . . I hope you will do better.,'” the report continues.
Sanders’ campaign manager Faiz Shakir told Page Six that Fox News has been “more fair than MSNBC . . . which . . . is constantly undermining the Bernie Sanders campaign.” He added, “MSNBC has not been fair to our campaign. Their coverage is condescending on a daily basis. No other campaign gets such negative coverage. Enough is enough.”

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Goes on Most Insane Rant Ever: ‘Trump is a Russian Operative,’ Nomination of Grenell Came at Putin’s Direction (VIDEO)

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell went on his most insane Trump-Russia rant ever and declared ‘the president is a Russian operative.’
Paranoid O’Donnell made this hysteric declaration based off of a NY Times article that provided zero evidence to back up the claims.
In fact, the NY Times article claiming ‘Putin was helping Trump win in 2020’ was debunked in less than 24 hours after it was revealed that no intel was provided to the DNI.
O’Donnell also asserted that Russian President Vladimir Putin told Trump to choose German Ambassador Richard Grenell as his Acting DNI.
“The president is a Russian operative. That sounds like the description of a bad Hollywood screenplay, but it is real, and it is Vladimir Putin’s greatest achievement,” O’Donnell said as the chyron was emblazoned with “Breaking News.”
“The president of the United States is now helping Russia help the president of the United States to get reelected, so that the president of Russia will have four more years of the president of the United States who he wants in the Oval Office,” O’Donnell said sounding like he was on the verge of a heart attack.
But Lawrence O’Donnell wasn’t quite finished delivering his “shocking” breaking news.

O’Donnell referred to the Trump Admin as the “Trump-Putin regime” as he turned his ire toward Richard Grenell.
“Richard Grenell will be replacing Joseph Maguire who was serving as an Acting Director of National Intelligence and he expected to be nominated by the president to be confirmed by the Senate as the official DNI…until Vladimir Putin showed Donald Trump that he needed an even more incompetent DNI because Vladimir Putin is working hard to reelect his favorite president…”

U.S. Women’s Soccer Team Asks Judge To Skip Trial, Give Them The Money

On Thursday, women on the the U.S. women’s national team asked a judge to skip a trail and simply rule in their favor in their $66 million wage discrimination lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation, which has countered by asking the judge to dismiss the case.
Yahoo Sports reported, “The USWNT’s lawyers filed a motion for summary judgment, which means the judge would find the players had been discriminated against without the need to go to trial. As part of that, they filed a lengthy analysis determining the women were due up to $67 million in retroactive pay.
U.S. Soccer stated, as NBC News reported:
Women’s national team players are paid differently because they specifically asked for and negotiated a completely different contract than the men’s national team, despite being offered, and rejecting, a similar pay-to-play agreement during the past negotiations. Their preference was a contract that provides significant additional benefits that the men’s national team does not have, including guaranteed annual salaries, medical and dental insurance, paid child-care assistance, paid pregnancy and parental leave, severance benefits, salary continuation during periods of injury, access to a retirement plan, multiple bonuses and more.
Molly Levinson. spokeswoman for the women, countered:
In the most recent CBA negotiation, USSF repeatedly said that equal pay was not an option regardless of pay structure. USSF proposed a “pay to play structure” with less pay across the board. In every instance for a friendly or competitive match, the women players were offered less pay that their male counterparts. This is the very definition of gender discrimination, and of course the players rejected it.
As Matt Walsh wrote in The Daily Wire last July, “… historically U.S. men’s soccer has generated more revenue than U.S. women’s soccer. That gap has closed in recent years, and now the women generate slightly more than the men — though this only takes into account ticket sales, not TV deals and merchandise. But the pay gap in U.S. soccer is not nearly as large as advertised. The highest-paid female soccer players in this country are paid almost the same as the highest-paid male soccer players. The pay gap in U.S. soccer only widens among the lower-tier players.”
Walsh quoted The New York Times:
According to figures provided by U.S. Soccer, since 2008 it has paid 12 players at least $1 million. Six of those players were men, and six were women. And the women hold their own near the top of the pay scale; the best-paid woman made about $1.2 million from 2008 to 2015, while the top man made $1.4 million in the same period. Some women in the top 10 even made more than their male counterparts over those years.
Walsh continued, “The really significant pay gap, and the one that gets most of the press, is in the World Cup payouts. FIFA, the international soccer organization, will give about $400 million to male players in the World Cup, while female players will make around $30 million. When you hear that male players make 10 times what female players make, this is the figure that justifies the claim.”

California Lawmakers Want Adult Entertainers To Receive ‘Certificate Of Training Completion’

California Assemblymember Lorena Gonzales (D-San Diego), author of the labor law that has essentially declared war on the state’s gig worker economy, may have a new magnum opus.
Earlier this week, Gonzales and Assemblymember Christina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens) proposed a bill that would require adult entertainers, performers, and web-cam models to undergo state-mandated training and obtain a “certificate of training completion” before entertainers are permitted to film on camera.
According to the text of the bill, the training course would provide information on the rights of adult entertainers, including information about how to report workplace abuse or injuries. Entertainers would also receive information about how to identify victims of human trafficking, and undergo fingerprinting.
Garcia told Reason Magazine that the final training course will resemble the certification process used in other industries, including the food service industries.
If the proposal becomes law and the certification process does, in fact, come to resemble that of the food service industry, prospective adult entertainers may come to anticipate practice drills, flash cards, and a fair bit of cramming.
According to the proposal, the training curriculum would be developed by an adult entertainment advisory committee, which would consist of ten people, including two adult entertainers, three dancers, two doctors, a therapist and a money manager, who would each receive $200 each day the committee meets.
While the proposal doesn’t state how long the training will take, prospective certified adult entertainers can expect to spend a minimum of 2 hours and 45 minutes, and the online version will include “an interactive feature.” However, anyone who wants to take the exam will have to pay for it themselves.
According to Reason Magazine, Alana Evans, the president of an adult entertainer guild, has come out against the proposal, and lambasted Gonzales for not mentioning the proposal when they recently met to discuss the gig worker law.
“We are shocked, disgusted and angry that our parent union did this without discussing it with APAG, without discussing it with the industry and without discussing it with stakeholders,” said Evans. “Nobody contacted us about this. Not the [International Adult Entertainment Union], not Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, who I met Thursday to discuss A.B. 5.”
The guild is also concerned that the proposal prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from taking the training course, and thus prevent people under 21 from entering the adult entertainment industry, reports the news agency.
Gonzales has since distanced herself from the proposal, claiming that it contains mistakes, and that she wouldn’t vote for it herself. The assembly member also claims the “bill idea” was proposed by the International Entertainment Adult Union, the parent union of the adult performers guild, but it isn’t clear who actually wrote it.
This wouldn’t be the first time Gonzales proposed a disaster of a law. As The Daily Wire reported in September, former California Senator Barbara Boxer published an op-ed correctly noting that it would create “anxiety and loss of income for thousands of workers” who rely on the flexibility of gig jobs to earn a living.

New York Police Chief Union Leader Says Governor Cuomo Has ‘Forgotten’ 9/11 Attacks

New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has lost the memory of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, according to the president of a major police union in the state.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spearheaded a news briefing Thursday in Troy, New York, to warn about the ramifications of the “Green Light” law, new statewide legislation that prohibits departments of motor vehicles from sharing information with ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The event included numerous law enforcement officials from across the state, all of whom spoke about the law’s dangerous consequences.
One individual was particularly critical of Cuomo for signing the bill into law.
“It’s amazing to me that we stand in the very state where not too long ago, on Sept. 11 2001, terrorists crashed planes into the World Trade Center and brought it down,” said Patrick Phelan, police chief in the town of Greece, near Rochester, and president of the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police.
“The biggest critique of law enforcement after those events out of the 9/11 Commission was the failure of state, local and federal law enforcement to share information,” he continued. “I’ve been here for the last 20 years. I’ve watched the amazing advances that we’ve made in that vein — sharing information with our state, local and federal partners. …
“There is a sign on the back of every one of my police cars that says, ‘Never forget.’ Never forget 9/11. We made that pledge that day — you were there, you remember. We made that pledge to never forget.
“I’m telling you that Governor Cuomo, and his friends that make laws in New York state, have forgotten.”

The comments were a sharp rebuke to the state’s new “Green Light” law, which not only allows illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses but also restricts what information state DMVs can provide to ICE and CBP.
The two agencies have come out adamantly against the law, saying the information is vital for conducting their day-to-day businesses to protect communities. Because you can only obtain driving under the influence and aggravated traffic offense records through the DMV, the Department of Homeland Security said it had no choice but to revoke trusted traveler benefits for New York residents.
Cuomo and President Donald Trump met earlier this month to discuss a possible compromise, but no agreement has been reached.
Earlier during the event Thursday, ICE acting director Matthew Albence broke down just how much his agency has done to fight crime.
He said ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations Division arrested 373 criminal gang members, seized close to 6,500 pounds of narcotics, made 149 arrests of individuals who committed crimes of child exploitation, and rescued 105 victims of human trafficking and child exploitation — all in the state of New York alone.
Albence also told the story of an 18-month-old child who was being sexually molested by her father, with the act being live-streamed on the internet. ICE was able to apprehend the father hours within obtaining pertinent information from a state DMV.

“Thankfully it wasn’t in New York or that child would still be sexually assaulted as we speak,” Albence said.

3 Days After Giving Birth, Brave Mother Helps Rescue Semi Driver from Burning Tanker Carrying Jet Fuel

A truck driver is alive and in critical condition after being rescued from his overturned oil tanker that exploded on an Indianapolis freeway Thursday afternoon.
Holly McNally is one of the three heroes who ran toward truck driver Jeffrey “Duke” Denman, who she says was on fire after his semi-truck flipped over, WXIN reported.
McNally, who gave birth to a son just three days prior to the event, had been leaving the hospital with her mother after visiting her baby in the neonatal intensive care unit.
“I slowed down, and I saw the actual semi on fire, and I look to the front of the semi and I see a man on fire,” McNally told WXIN.
“And I’m scanning and people are videotaping and watching, but no one was going over there. So I told my mom ‘I’m stopping, I’m going over there.’”
The driver of the semi was pulled out by a Good Samaritan. He is being transported to the hospital now

McNally said she was joined by another good Samaritan who worked to put out the fire that was consuming Denman’s body.
As the trio started to evacuate the scene, McNally realized that her shoes were soaked in a strong-smelling liquid.
“We got him out, and we start to walk away and I see this huge stream of liquid and I could smell it,” McNally said.
“I said ‘Jeff, honey, what were you hauling?’ And he said ‘jet fuel.'”
Four thousand gallons of jet fuel poured down over the freeway, creating a massive fire and thick plumes of black smoke.
“We’re trying to carry him down and it’s getting closer and closer and the second explosion went off,” McNally said. “Smoke was hitting us and I was just praying like ‘God, please let us get out of here so I can see my baby.”
On Monday, McNally delivered her own baby, Connor, who came earlier than anticipated, according to a video report by WXIN.
On Thursday, she was racing toward a blazing semi-truck to save a man’s life.
“Without question, those good Samaritans saved this driver’s life,” Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine told WXIN.

Denman, 59, was badly burned and taken to the hospital in critical condition, the station reported.
On Friday, trucking company Jet Star Inc. issued a statement about the incident, thanking those who saved Denman’s life.
“We would like to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of support, prayers and concern for our driver Jeffrey “Duke” Denman following yesterday’s tragedy involving one of our trucks on the east side of Indianapolis,” the statement read.
“We are grateful that no one else was injured or involved. We would also like to offer a heartfelt “thank you” to the brave “Good Samaritan’s” that rushed to aid our driver and help him escape from further harm.”
“We would also like to thank all of the first responders and various public safety agencies involved, firefighters, EMS, EMA, law enforcement and INDOT,” the statement said. “Thank you for your continued support and thoughts and prayers for our driver.”
McNally said she was thinking of her son as she decided to stop and help the driver.
If her son had been the one on fire, she would have wanted somebody to do the same.

“I wish everybody was like that you know? I mean everybody should help everybody,” the brave mother said.

Elizabeth Warren Bashes Bill That Seeks To Block Transgender Athletes from Dominating Girls' Sports

Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Thursday came out against a proposed bill in Arizona that would limit girls’ sports to biological females.
Republican state Rep. Nancy Barto’s proposed bill would bar biologically male athletes who identify as transgender girls from competing in girls’ sports.
The bill comes as biological males who identify as transgender have racked up victories in girls’ and women’s sports.
“Trans athletes are not a threat,” Warren tweeted Thursday. “We need to protect trans kids — and all LGBTQ+ kids — and ensure they feel safe and welcomed at school. I urge the Arizona legislature to reject this cruel bill.”

Every Democratic presidential front-runner supports the Equality Act, which would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls.
The House passed the bill in May 2019 with unanimous Democratic support.
Transgender athletes have piled up achievements in women’s sports.
A biologically male marathon runner is set to compete in the USA Olympic trials as a woman later this month.
Biologically male cyclist Rachel McKinnon won a women’s cycling world championship and set a women’s world record in October 2019.
June Eastwood, a biologically male runner at the University of Montana who identifies as transgender, was named the Big Sky Conference’s female athlete of the week that same month.
Eastwood previously competed on the university’s men’s cross country team.
Franklin Pierce University runner CeCe Telfer won an NCAA DII women’s track championship in May 2019.
Like Eastwood, Telfer previously competed on the men’s team before switching genders.
